COVID 19 Measures
Our priority is keeping our customers safe during the COVID 19 outbreak. Our private 'en-pitch' toilets and individual pitches put us in a unique position of easily being able to implement social distancing on our site. Once we re-open we implement a raft of procedures to further enable this included increased cleaning, contactless check-in, staggered shower block usage, and only taking wood sales through pre-orders. Unfortunately to enable us to carry out these measures we have had to make a small increase to our prices in order to accommodate our extra costs.
ANYONE FAILING TO ADHERE TO OUR SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT REFUND.
COVID19 Refund Guarantee - if we have to close the site by government order over your stay we will give you a full refund (minus any Cool Camping booking fees). This only applies if we are forced to close and not if you decide to cancel for any other reason.

EXCLUSIVE FOR AUGUST 2020 ONLY
POP-UP CAMPING MEADOW
Open for just 28 days in August 2020 our temporary pop-up camping meadow at Park Farm is a unique experience not to be missed! It’s completely different from our main site that back at the farm but we think it is just as special.
Located in one of our beautiful and wild hay meadows bordered with ancient trees, there is an abundance of space with just over 9 acres for only 20 pitches. It’s all about the simple things, starry skies, beautiful views, connecting nature and roaming outdoors.
The camping meadow is a few hundred yards down the road from the main farm and campsite. It is well signed from the road, and you drive along the edge of one of our wheat fields to get to it when you can then drive in and park where you decide to pitch (don’t drive on the undulating top half of the field though as you may get stuck!).
The facilities are simple but also just as unique. Each pitch/booking has it’s own designated private portable toilet near the entrance to the meadow for their exclusive use during their stay. In these times, this is the gold standard of COVID19 measures for campsites. There are no showers, but there is a standpipe to collect your drinking and washing up water from. Tents and small campervans only.
Unfortunately we are not able to allow campfires as the meadow will be returned to it’s pristine natural state in September. BBQs and raised firebowls are fine, as long as they are raised up and there is no damage to the grass beneath. The whole farm is in the environmental stewardship scheme but as unimproved grass land that has never even been ploughed (you can still see the remains of ridge and furrow dating from the middle ages), this meadow is the jewel in our conservation crown.
All our normal rules apply – no large groups, minimal noise from 9pm-9am, no amplified music, no dogs.
